Choosing a low-step frame allows you to mount and dismount effortlessly every time. This is particularly helpful for people who might struggle physically to lift their leg over a high step frame, whether due to injury, height, or age… but it makes life easy for one and all!

An electric bike demands virtually the same skills as when riding a standard bike. Riding an electric bike makes it easier to go further, as less stamina is required. Managing headwinds and hills is much less demanding when riding an electric bike. They are a great way to extend your daily cycling distance

Key features of our E-bikes:

• Sinch Jaunt (silver bike) – has a comfortable easy step-through frame with an upright riding position for a safe and comfortable ride. Easy mounting and dismounting make it great for getting around town and enjoying multi-terrain cycle trails
• A super reliable intuitive pedal assist Shimano drive unit will help you sustain speeds up to 32km/h and allow you to travel around the Great Taste Trail with ease
• Avanti Metro: This bike enjoys the same design and benefits as the Sinch, but is powered by a Bosch motor and has a dropper seat post
• Both bikes have a maximum range of 130km on the lowest power level (large loads, hills and head winds reduce range)
• You can carry extra weight more easily. Our electric bikes have racks which take our fully waterproof panniers

The Discovery range of bikes are built around a total comfort concept. Lightweight frames with an upright ride position take the pressure off your hands and wrists

Powerful and smooth disc brakes provide controlled braking in any situation. Suspension forks, seat post and super comfy saddles smooth out the bumps in the road/trail

• The powerful Shimano intuitive mid-drive motor is more powerful than the Jaunt and provides plenty of assistance to let you tackle those longer rides and bigger hills

Our Coastal Shuttle will transport bikes, bags and bikers to and from various locations between Nelson and Kaiteriteri

We also plan to run shuttles to the top of Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park over the summer months to cut out the climbing
